🧰 Steps to Create a Kit

Kits are typically assembled in advance and stocked as finished goods.

Kit Creation Workflow

  1. Go to Inventory → List Navigate to the Inventory section and click on “List” to view all items.
  2. Create a New Inventory Item Click Create New to begin.
  3. Toggle “Use as Kit” Enable the “This is a Kit” option to designate this item as a kit.

  1. Add Kit Components A new tab opens where you can add the individual SKUs that make up the kit. Specify the quantities for each component.
  2. Save the Kit Click Save to finalize the kit setup.
  3. Assemble the Kit Go to the Assembly section, select the kit, and confirm component availability. Complete the assembly to deduct components and create the stocked kit.
  4. Put Away the Kit Assign the kit to a storage location and update its bin/shelf in the system.
