Before putaway

• Confirm the receipt and required quality checks.
• Print and attach LPN or pallet labels.
• Confirm the inventory status.
• Keep damaged, hold, or quarantine inventory separated from available stock.

Directed putaway

Use the destination suggested by Packem when location rules and capacity have been configured.

1. Open the putaway task on the scanner.
2. Scan the LPN, pallet, or item.
3. Review the suggested destination.
4. Move the inventory.
5. Scan the destination location.
6. Confirm the quantity and complete the task.

Manual putaway

Use manual putaway when an authorized operator must choose the location.

1. Open the putaway task.
2. Scan the inventory identifier.
3. Select or scan an allowed destination.
